San Jose has had a couple of postponements to deal with and dropped a 7-6 loss to St. Louis in their return to the ice. San Jose is putting up 2.72 goals a game, and on the defensive end, they are giving up 3.89 goals a game. Martin Jones is expected to get the start in goal for the Sharks. He is just 6-5-1 with a 3.85 goals-against- average and a .877 save percentage. Jones will need to play better than the last time they faced the Avs when he let up five goals on only 19 shots in January. He is 10-6-1 with a 2.92 goals-against-average and .897 save percentage in 17 career starts versus Colorado.

The last time these two teams met, the Avalanche outscored the Sharks 10-3 in a two-game series. Colorado is playing well on Special teams but they are also getting great goaltending from Grubauer. The should be another easy win for the Avalanche and I am playing them on the puck-line for better value.
