The Montreal Canadiens will try ad bounce back from a 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1. Tampa Bay had a one-goal lead heading into the third but the Lightning poured it on scoring three times in the third. Andrei Vasilevskiy wasn't tested much in the net, stopping 18 of 19 shots in picking up the win. Carey Price gave up five goals on 27 shots in which was his worst game in the playoffs. Montreal is 11-3 in their last 14 games overall and 9-3 in their last 12 games as an underdog. Tampa Bay is 93-43 in their last 136 games overall and 49-19 in their last 68 home games.
Game 1 was close heading into the third and it took a powerplay goal in the last minute to send this game over the total. I don't expect Price to give up five goals again, but I don't see Montreal scoring a ton either. Montreal needs to play this one close if they want to win as the Bolts have a more explosive offense. I am looking for another low-scoring game heading into the third period.
