The Liberty has proven over that the last couple of seasons that they can play with good teams. Malik Willis has played well the last two seasons but doesn't have the weapons to face the talent of Ole Miss. AS good as Willis has been, Ole Miss has the better quarterback in Matt Corrall. Corrall will be facing a Liberty defense that will not be able to match up with the talent on the Rebels offense.

The Flames have not faced many top teams this season with their best win being over UAB. When they did step up against a power 5 conference opponent they went down 24-21 to Syracuse who is not the class of the ACC. Ole Miss has lost on the road to both Bama and Auburn but has the offensive firepower to overrun the Liberty defense. Liberty's defense looks good by the numbers but that is more a product of the teams they have faced. Ole Miss' offense averages 6.7 yards a play that puts them in the top 10 nationally. It is not all about the quarterback as they also can get it done on the ground. Liberty can keep this one close for a while, but I look for the overall talent on both sides of the ball to pull away in the second half.
