10* LAST CALL FOR BASEBALL
(MLB) LA Dodgers vs. Chi Cubs,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -113.00 LA Dodgers (Away)
Result: Win
The Chicago Cubs take on the L.A. Dodgers on ESPN Sunday night baseball. The Dodgers took both games of a doubleheader yesterday to stretch their win streak to five in a row. The Cubs have lost four in a row and seven of their last eight games.

Walker Buehler will get the start for the Dodgers. He is 3-1 with a 2.12 ERA and a WHIP of 1.11. He went five scoreless innings last tie out giving up just six hits to the Tigers. The Dodgers have won four of Buehler’s five starts, he has not given up any runs in his last two starts and has not given up more than three runs in any start. Marcus Stroman gets the nod for the Cubs. He is 1-3 with a 5.13 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. He went seven shutout innings giving up just two hits in his last outing, his best f the season. The Cubs had lost his first four starts before he threw and he had given up 16 runs in the previous 14 innings before that.

These two teams are decidedly heading in different directions. Chicago does not rank in the top 20 in baseball in team ERA or runs scored and their lineup has really struggled as of late. The Cubs are not pitching or hitting at the moment and neither one of those are good when facing this Dodgers lineup if you are a pitcher or facing Buehler as a batter. The Cubs scored 2 runs total in the doubleheader and I think they will be lucky to get that many here. I like the Dodgers to roll and put this one away early.

Play on the LA DODGERS minus 1.5 runs. This is a 10* play.
