THE PROFESSOR’S MLB UPPER-DECK BLOWOUT
(MLB) San Diego vs. Atlanta,
Money Line: 133.00 San Diego (Away)
Result: Loss
The San Diego Padres took game one of their three-game set with the Atlanta Braves. They pounded out 16 hits in an 11-6 win. Sean Manaea will get the nod for the Padres and the Mets will trot out Charlie Morton. This will be Manaea's seventh start of the season. He has posted a 2-3 record with a 3.75 ERA. Manaea has gone at least six innings in four of his last five starts. Morton has posted a 2-3 record with a 5.65 ERA over six starts. He went five shutout innings with just two hits and struck out five.

San Diego has posted an 11-5 record on the road this season. The Braves have won just five of their last 12 games. The Padres have scored 21 runs over their last three games. Atlanta has struggled this season, ranking in the bottom five in team ERA. I like the Padres to get the job done over a shaky Morton in this one.

Play on San Diego. This is a 7* play.
