A battle for Philly as No. 16 Villanova takes on Temple Friday night. The Villanova Wildcats opened the season with a win over another Philly University in Lasalle 81-68. The Temple Owls struggled in their opener and fell to Wagner 76-73 in overtime as 16-point favorites. Villanova was playing their first game under their new coach but d have four returning starters from last season's final four team. Temple was up eight with less than two minutes to play and ended up losing in overtime. Villanova has won seven straight in this series, all ATS by an average margin of 18 points. Villanova has a deeper bench if needed and you can't have a lot of confidence in Temple to keep it close after their showing against a Wagner team that was a huge dog. This line seems low to me.
