Last time these teams met in May, the RedBulls (who are less trustworthy at home) beat DC United 4 - 1, so the result of a W are in the cards again for the 4th seeded NY team in the Eastern Conference. Not only are they a better team in the road, they play a mean and aggressive style of defense on opponents home turf, having ended 6 of the last 7 away games with less than 3 total goals. DC United were starched by Charlotte FC Midweek on Wednesday 3-0, a team ranked nearly the same defensively as the RedBulls. DC has allowed the other team to score in 6 straight home games previously, so the #7 offensive ranked team in the league NYRB shouldn't have an issue putting up goals on the now WORST defensive team in the MLS. I think both teams can score in this matchup, but instead of betting on the Over 2.5 goals, I'll just side bet the Red Bulls to put up 2 goals on DC as many have in the past. But there's no way I'm passing up on The RedBulls at Plus-Money, as they try to squeeze into the top 3 of the standings, while DC will be tampering with the lineup, preparing themselves for next season.
