Mets just finished off good series at home against the Atlanta Braves, beating them by more than 1 run in 3 of the 4 meetings. Now the Reds come to town, and with their pitching stats being one of the most mediocre in the league I don't see them stopping this train that the Mets are on at home. Reds are debuting Justin Dunn, and without having many stats to base his level of talent; this isn't the team you want to start your season up against. Mets are putting Chris Bassitt on the mound Monday night and even though I he has had a terrible home record this season, I can see the bats and outfield supporting a tough outing by their pitcher. NY Mets are 7th in hits against Righties, 8th in RBI's against righties, and are the 3rd least struck out team vs right handed pitchers. I think both pitchers get hit in this matchup, given the poor run by Bassitt at home, and the fact that the Reds are debuting a young pitcher.
