Padres were just swept by the Dodgers on the road and now they return home to play a struggling Giants team coming off a sweeping of the Oakland A's after being swept by the same Dodgers team the Padres lost to. Padres are obviously the better team and I think they use this matchup as a time to get back on track after losing the last 4 straight. Blake Snell is on the mound for the Padres, who has a 4.16 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 87 strikeouts in 67 innings played; with a record of 4-5 as a starter and 3-3 at home. Giants are starting Alex Wood who has a 4.42 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 105 strikeouts in 106 innings played. These pitchers make for a decent bet on the UNDER 8 goals, but I'm siding with the Padres who won 6-3 last time Snell played the Giants, and even though the Giants beat the Padres 12-0 in Alex woods last meeting, the Padres played Mackenzie Gore who gave up 8 runs (Not happening with Snell).
