This is going to give Superbowl vibes as KC travels to San Fran to battle the new-look 49ers who added Christian McCaffery earlier this week and have gotten much healthier defensively (which imposed them to lose last weekend). If this was in KC I would side with the upset and take Chiefs to overcome the allotment of talent that 49ers possess; however in San Francisco I see a revenge narrative coming from the home sides, with Jimmy G and Kyle Shanahan proving a point that they have what it takes to beat this KC team now that they have developed a strong team via trades since they last met in the 2017 season. CMC isn't the only issue that the Chiefs have to deal with, its every ball carrier that the 49ers have! Deebo Samuel, CMC, and Jeff WIlson will be used heavily in this matchup to dominate the pace of the game and limit time for Patrick Mahomes to wield the ball. Chiefs have question marks in the defense as well, allowing an average of 266 yards passing yards per game, this could be a very similar game to the Superbowl we last seen Jimmy G in, where he has to rely on his arms to get the Job done which he should not have a tough time doing while the Running game will be KC's focal point on defense.
