This Lakers team is poorly assembled and the skid they are on will continue after Wednesdays game vs the Nuggets who are surely getting back into form now that they are a healthier unit. The factors that lead me to take the Nuggets -6 are: Coaching capability, team structure and orientation, the fact they have the better ability to shoot from distance, and that they will have all their star power tomorrow (Russ is doubtful for the Lakers). It could be a high scoring game because Denver doesn't play defense, but the Lakers would be wise to placate on their defensive superiority to keep this in reach. But fading the Lakers is the only way to go until the Front Office in LA makes some roster adjustments via trade.
