Neither team has been playing well defensively, and this line is set based off the absence of Kyrie and Ben Simmons for the Nets and The Hornets missing Terry Rozier and Cody martin; which means there may be a lack of scoring to contribute to the Over 221.5. However Seth Curry is projected to return from injury tonight, and the Hornets have a plethora of young talent on the roster alongside Kelly Oubre and Gordon Hayward to get over this low total. The pace of these Charlotte is really what draws me to the Over, as they play even faster at home and will want to limit Brooklyns time to set up their defense with the paint-presence advantage siding with Brooklyn. I see a track meet being initiated by a top 10 paced team in Charlotte, forcing the Nets to make a living from long range, as the Hornets already do.
