I’m on the Diamondbacks moneyline in game 1 vs the Guardians for these reasons:

- Tale of two teams going in the wrong direction. I have no idea what this Guardians offense is doing, but getting shut out by the Marlins 7-0 last night, doesn’t have me wanting to put any money on them tonight vs the Diamondbacks who have not scored less than 4 runs in the last 12 games.

- Diamondbacks Zack Gallen is the better pitcher in this matchup. He’s much more liable to miss bats today than the Guardians Logan Allen, because Zach is allowing a batting average of .267 to righties and only .218 to lefties. On the other side, Logan Allen is much more hittable by both handed batters, especially lefties (and the Diamondbacks lefties are seriously good). I expect the bats of Arizona to do more damage than the Cleveland bats, and it’s honestly surprising that the price is this low for a team like Cleveland who have been on a skid.
