I’m on the As run line vs the the Whitesox at home in their season finale for these reasons:

- Joey Estes is 3-0 at home this season with a 2.25 ERA and 26 strikeouts across 40 innings pitched in Oakland. Whitesox are going through the ringer right now as a team, and Joey just did work against the Dodgers in his last outing, only allowing 2 runs and striking out 6 bats over those 6 innings to get a massive win. His momentum should loom heavy in this matchup vs a much worse batting team that doesn’t have enough firepower to score runs at even a decent clip. The whitesox are batting .216 vs right handed pitchers this season.

- Whitesox are starting Davis Martin who we last seen get blown up by the Twins in his last start, allowing 4 runs off 6 hits but also throwing 6 strikeouts in the 3 innings before being yanked off the mound. This should be an easier start for Davis, but I still don’t see him lasting 5 innings before the damage is already done. You just have to trust Joey over Davis in a game that could go over 8.5 but the Whitesox will be giving up the ghost quicker than Oakland will.
