I’m on the Mets -1.5 at home vs the Oakland As for these reasons:

- It seems wild to bet on the Lefty Quintana getting a price of -180; but it’s because the As don’t bat well against Lefties, only batting .218 as a whole on the road vs Southpaws. Jose Quintana has had quality starts at home, with a 15-2 win over the twins in his last home start.

- Mitch Spence is on the mound for the Oakland As and he’s 3-4 on the road with a 4.96 era away from home. He’s 1-3 in his last 4 road matches and gets hit too often to not see them giving up 3 runs atleast before he leaves the mound, that’ll buy the Mets enough time to mount a lead and back this run line play with Jose being much more seasoned and stable.
