I’m on the under in this Diamondbacks @ Rays for these reasons:

- Ryne Nelson gets the easier matchup on the mound vs the Tampa Bay Rays weaker batting rotation, but Ryan Pepiot is the better starting pitcher overall in this matchup and will make things difficult on a slugging team like Arizona has been playing.

- Pepiot is allowing a batting average of only .200 to both handed batters, and at home he’s got 61 strikeouts in 57 inning pitched. He also may not have to face Marte today, who has missed the last two games for Arizona with an ankle injury. Diamondbacks are already missing Moreno and Christian Walker.

- Lucky for Ryne Nelson, Rays are 26th in overall batting average, 27th in hits, 28th in runs overall. The rays bat .205 vs righties at home. I have no faith in this batting rotation to put up runs, rather they will rely on good pitching and Arizonas injuries to have a chance to win.
