I’m on the Under of 7.5 in this Reds @ Pirates matchup for these reasons:

- Both pitchers are good, both batting rotations are lower tier. Paul Skenes is already a name of legend, being a rookie on the All Star game, Cy Young Candidate and everything, and Nick Lodolo on the mound for Cincinnati is one of if not definitely their best pitcher in this opening series game. Nick Lodolo plays better on the road and his splits vs bad batting units are impressive, last 2 away starts were against The Marlins and The Pirates and he threw 7 and 8 strikes this outings, and only 3 runs combined. Skenes also allowed only 1 run and threw 7 strikeouts a when he last played the Reds.
