I’m on Oakland in this matchup on the road vs Cincinnati for these reasons:

- Oswaldo Bido is on the mound first for Oakland, and he’s been on a heater recently that I don’t want to step in front of and bet against. 3-0 in his last 3 starts, versus the Rays , Giants , and Bluejays who are all better batting units than the Reds who are top 10 in strikeouts allowed, and 3rd worst hitting team in the mlb. Bids has only allowed 4 runs in his last 4 starts combined, so don’t expect him to let the Reds to get on the board early in this game, as they have been a very fickle batting team vs righties specifically.

- Reds are starting Fernando Cruz and he hasn’t pitched more than 2 innings all season. Not going to trust him over Bido who has pitched 6 inning in 3 of his last 4 outings. A’s aren’t worse than the Reds cs righties and they should be able to get to Cruz early here.
