I am on Auburn -13 at home vs the Cal Bears for these reasons:

- Cal does not have a good defense. In their season opener, they allowed 221 yards and 50% pass completion through the air to UC Davis. That is not going to fly against an Auburn Offense who has shown that they will be airing it out more often than previous years, with their dominant 73 - 3 season opening win over an inferior Alabama A&M team where NFL prospect QB Payton Thorne just threw for 322 yards and 4 passing TDs.

- The biggest advantage for Auburn is their calling card since they’ve been a program….. their defense. I do not see how Cal gets up and down the field in this game, when they didn’t even eclipse 300 yards TOTAL offensively vs UC Davis. It’s clear to see that Cal is going to rely on their defense to give them short field advantage in order to generate points, I don’t think Cal can get to the red zone efficiently with a full field to work on, and I don’t see Auburn turning the ball over at home in this spot.
