NFL - Texans @ Colts
(NFL) Texans (HOU) vs. Colts (IND),
Point Spread: -2.50 | -125.00 Texans (HOU) (Away)
Result: Loss
I’m on the Texans -2.5 at Colts in this divisional battle, for these reasons:

- These teams throw the ball a ton. CJ Shroud needs no introduction to this topic with his display of control under center, in the pocket, with eyes always looking downfield which he will have much opportunity to do so vs a Colts secondary that has always been questionable (they still have a weak and unproven secondary). Now getting to Anthony Richardson and the home team…. This kid has the potential to do what CJ did last season….. only this star has greater capabilities on the run. He’s a tank, and in his short season last year it still was evident that he’s a massive threat in open field and on the goal line. Pairing his athleticism with Johnathan Taylor, Pittman, and newcomer Adonai Mitchell, it’s only right that this Texans defense should be on high alert. HOWEVER, we have seen the signings of the Texans (Diggs, Joe Micon), we have seen the DBs play at a more elite level (Pitre and Stingley) and we know who the better coach is (Raheem Morris)

- Colts aren’t winning this game but they will make it interesting given the seriousness of how this division always plays out in the end of the year (very close records to make the playoffs). Hell, the Colts almost made the playoffs last season with Gardner Minshew! But 2.5, 3.5, 6.5, 10.5, 13.5 are key numbers in football betting, and I’ll take the Texans at 2.5.
