I’m on the Over of 46 in this Kansas at home vs the Houston Cougars for these reasons:

- I’m not betting on Kansas. They are 1-5, allow an average of 25 points per game to opponents, and 361 total yards per game. I don’t care how bad Houston’s offense has been, the Cougars will put points up here and force Kansas to keep up, as we saw the cougars last week against the Horn Frogs in a similar road spot (TCU put up numbers on KU too).

- Both QBs are dual QBs. The use of their legs will keep drives alive, pressure each other’s defense to QB Spy, which leaves gaps for the passing games. Kansas has the better running back, but Houston have the better QB who has instilled confidence in their team with that win at TCU.

- I’m going to side bet Houston as well, who have had a tough 6 weeks, but their schedule is getting easier. They had to play UNLV, Oklahoma, Cincinnati, and Iowa State to start the year, so this will be more of an even playing field for them.
