I’m on the Over 219.5 in this Timberwolves @ Lakers Game for these reasons:

- Lakers made 0 defensive additions this offseason. Thy drafted more offense, and kept the same roster because they don’t have any cap space to sign better defensive players, knowing that they allowed top 10 most points per game to teams.

- Timberwolves added more offense to their team that had defense, but little offense to muster against teams like the Dallas mavericks that beat them in the eastern conference finals (and mavs had no defense). This is a stylistic matchup of teams who sacrificed defense in the offseason.

- Matchups make for good fights and high scoring, like with these teams: Rudy Gobert can not defend Anthony Davis. D’Angelo Russell and any Gaurd for the Lakers cannot defend Anthony Edward’s who will be the primary all handler for Minnesota. Julius Randle will be a lot to handle for Rui Hachimura at Power Forward, and Nobody on the Timberwolves can defend Lebron James. Divencenzo was a great offensive savvy addition to the Timberwolves as well, who shot very well from 3pt range for the Knicks last season. The defensive Mismatches are what lean me heavily to the over in this game, and especially if you also think the Lakers win.
