I’m on the Over 228 in this Grizzlies @ Jazz matchup for these reasons:

- New team for Grizzlies, returning Ja Morant to the NBA after misbehavior and Injury, finally getting to play alongside the acquired Marcus Smart , however their team is coming into this game unhealthy, so we will see heavy minutes from Ja Morant and Desmond Bane tonight, the leaders of this team. The Jazz are the healthier team and brought back familiarity from last season, keeping Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markannen, Collin Sexton and Josh Collins. This injury discrepancy doesn’t make me want to bet on the Jazz as my best bet of them as home underdogs, but they should do what they do best…. Shoot threes and make this game a shootout.

- Last season Utah Jazz were a terrible defensive team. I can’t expect different from them at home to start this season. They were also one of the best 3pt shooting teams as well. The lack of Jaren Jackson for the Grizzlies who now have to start 7ft tall Zach Edy in his rookie season, that calls for less action inside the paint, and more shots from range. Grizzlies Desmond Bane is also a heavily favored 3pt shooter and could easily have 5 plus 3s made tonight.
