Im on the Jets moneyline at home vs the Texans for these reasons:

- Desperation. That’s what these jets are feeling heading into this game after fumbling the win vs the Patriots. They can’t afford to lose this game even more than the Texans.

- CJ Shroud is not playing as well as he played last season, specifically on the road. He’s thrown the ball over 215 yards only one time in the 4 away games played, and has only beaten up on the Patriots on the road. Joe Mixon has been the defacto reason that the Texans are even a competitive offense, and the Jets have the men available to put things on Shrouds shoulders, by bottling up Joe Mixon and forcing Shroud to rely on his young receivers who are not starting caliber #1s or #2s in this league.

- The Texans defense is trash. They have one good Cornerback and one good Pass Rusher (Stingley Jr and Will Anderson) the rest of the team is not defending anything. I wonder how they will get to Aaron Rodger’s in this game, having to play against the rush and play action. This defense has allowed an average of over 24 points to everyone on the road this season.
