I’m on the Eagles -7 at home vs the Jags for these reasons:

- Injuries for the Jags are piling up, missing Christian Kirk, and 2 questionable running backs heading into this matchup (Bixsby and Ettiene) for the offense, and Doug Pederson just isn’t a good coach. This could be his swan song, and it’s likely to be so vs a tough Eagles team that came out of the BYE week looking refreshed.

- Eagle are the top 5 pass and rush defense, despite what the passing defense has shown, they aren’t allowing many yards whatsoever. Darius slay is injured but he also didn’t play last game and they looked the best they have been in the secondary without him. The jags have a 62% pass completion rating which is tied for 5th worst with the Jets, so I’m not seeing there being a struggle in this secondary for the Eagles.

- Only way for Nick Siriani to save his job, is to beat teams like this who have not played well in the season and especially at home. AJ Brown will no doubt torch this Jags secondary, who is second worst in passer rating allowed, tied for second in passing touchdowns allowed, and 3rd in completions allowed.
