St. Louis added Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg by offer sheets which Edmonton did not match. St. Louis lost Torey Krug for the season so Broberg will be needed to step up for the Blues. St. Louis will rely on both players to make big impacts on the team.

Seattle finished last season 34-35-13 and will be looking for a better season. Seattle made a coaching change and signed two big free agents in Chandler Stephenson at center and Brandon Montour on defense. Seattle will be looking for improvements from younger players including Center Shane Wright.
