Boise State is coming into this game with a 4-4 record this season but they are 3-1 in the conference and still have a chance at the title. They have lost 2 of their last 4 games though with both of those losses coming on the road. They are going up against a Fresno State team that is 7-1 this season but they are also 3-1 in their conference games so this is a big game for them at home to give themselves the advantage in getting to the championship game. They have won their last 2 straight since losing to Wyoming and they have won their 3 conference games by more than 3 points in each. Boise State has not been as good on the road this season as they are 1-3 on the road and they also do not have much of a passing game. They are going to lean heavily on the run here but they will also struggle to run the ball efficiently against this Fresno run defense. Fresno State also has a very good passing game themselves and they will be able to challenge this Boise State secondary which will cause the game to get away from Boise as they do not have the offense to keep up.
