Yale is coming into this game with a 1-1 record this season as they are coming off of a loss against Gonzaga in their last game but they do have a dominant win by close to 50 points in their other game and have one of the if not the best team in the Ivy League this year. Yale was already very good last season as they were 22-9 with a 10-4 record in their conference but they are also returning over 75% of their minutes played as well as over 74% of their scoring from last year. Yale is going to improve even more with so many returning players and they will be hungry to bounce back here after losing to one of the better teams in the country in their last game. They are going up against a Loyola Marymount team that is 1-0 this season and was very dominant in their 40 point win over Westcliff, but now they are playing a much better team here. Loyola Marymount was pretty good last season as they were 19-12 but they are only returning around 45% of their minutes played as well as less than 40% of their scoring. Loyola Marymount still has a good team but Yale is a lot more reliable with their returning starters as they will be trying to take another step this year. Yale will cover the spread in this game.
