Iowa State is coming into this game with a 16-5 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They have won 3 of their last 4 games, but they are coming off of a very close 2 point loss against a ranked Baylor team on the road in their last game and they will be hungry to bounce back from that loss. They are going up against a Texas team that is 15-7 this season and has been very inconsistent in the conference as they are only 4-5. They are coming off of a road win against TCU in their last game but they also lost at home to Houston in their game prior. They have not been playing well recently as they have lost 2 of their last 3 games as well as losing 3 of their last 4 games at home. Their only win at home in their last 4 games at home was a 2 point win against Baylor while they have losses against Houston, UCF, and Texas Tech. Iowa State has a much better team this season that has been playing much better in their recent games and they are going to be hungry to bounce back here after a close loss on the road in their last game.
