Iowa State is coming into this game with an 18-5 record this season and they have been very good in the conference this season as they are 7-3. They have been playing very well recently as they have won their last 2 straight as well as 5 of their last 6 games with their only loss in that span coming on the road against Baylor by 2 points, but they also have some quality wins in that span as well like their home win against Kansas and their road win against TCU. They lost to Baylor by 2 points but they have actually been very good on the road recently as they have won 2 of their last 3 road games with that being their only loss. They are going up against a Cincinnati team that is 15-8 this season and has definitely been struggling more in the conference this year as it is their 1st season in the Big 12 and they are only 4-6 so far. They have not been playing well recently either as they have lost 2 of their last 3 as well as 4 of their last 6 games. They have not been that great at home either as they have lost 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 games there with losses against some of the weaker Big 12 teams in Oklahoma and Texas. Iowa State has done much better against the stronger conference opponents they have had to face on their schedule this season and they have shown they can win games on the road in the conference as well which has been very tough to do in this conference. Cincinnati has been very inconsistent in their recent games and have not been playing well at home either. Iowa State will cover the spread in this game.
