(NCAAB) Tennessee vs. South Carolina,
Point Spread: 6.00 | -110.00 South Carolina (Home)
Result: Loss
Tennessee is coming into this game with a 23-6 record this season and they are currently leading the conference at 13-3. They have been heating up in their recent games as they have won their last 6 straight as well as 8 of their last 9 games. They have also been good on the road recently, but they are getting caught in a bit of a sandwich spot here. They have a very tough schedule to end the season as they finish against 4 straight ranked teams. They won the 1st game of that stretch at home against Auburn and are now coming off of a big win on the road against Alabama which allowed them to move past Alabama in the standings, but now they are on the road again against a very good South Carolina team that is only 1 game behind them in the SEC and they still have to go home and finish the season against Kentucky in their next game. This is a bad spot for Tennessee off of that big road win against Alabama and knowing they still have Kentucky at home after this. They are going up against a South Carolina team that is 24-5 this season and currently sitting in 2nd place in the conference at 12-4. They have been playing very well in their recent games as they have won their last 3 straight as well as 10 of their last 12 games. They have also been very good at home as they have won 5 of their last 6 as well as 14 of their 16 games there this season. South Carolina is coming off of a win against Florida in their last game and they are going to be hungry to win this final game at home of the regular season as a win here would also put them level with Tennessee for the lead of the SEC. South Carolina is going to get up for this final home game of the regular season with a chance to knock down the best team in the conference right now, especially since South Carolina lost a very close game to Tennessee on the road by 4 points earlier this season. South Carolina will cover the spread in this game.
