MACK'S CFB CUSA GAME OF THE YEAR!
(NCAAF) New Mexico State vs. Liberty,
Point Spread: 10.50 | -110.00 New Mexico State (Away)
Result: Loss
New Mexico State has had an impressive season getting 10 wins this year in Jerry Kill's second year as coach, which has gone beyond their expectations. What is more impressive is how the Aggies beat a SEC team in Auburn the other week by a large double digit margin, only to come back the next week, which should have been a let down spot for the team, to beat Jacksonville State. This team is good at defending the run as they have a solid defense, and on offense, this team is great at running the ball, and their QB Pavia has become a mobile playmaker, being able to make plays out of the pocket, and use his legs. The Aggies also have a passing game as well that Liberty will be hard pressed to stop. They too have a good defense and can defend the run, however, defending the pass game is one of their weaknesses. Both have good mobile QB's but the game will come down to who can make those explosive plays in throwing the ball and in using their legs in the QB position. This is also a revenge game for New Mexico State as they lost early in the season to Liberty when they weren't as good as they are now; so to beat the same team twice in one season is hard to do. That is why getting double digits points in this game is good value. Take the underdog.
