I bet against the Buffaloes to cover last week, but I doubt they lose by more than a touchdown to Nebraska. Colorado has a lot to prove after garnering so much attention and hype since Deion Sanders arrived, and I don't think they will look afraid of the spotlight Saturday in Lincoln.
The Cornhuskers are also benefitting from plenty of hype this season with five-star frosh Dylan Raiola taking over. Matt Rhule is a great coach who has the experience of building up programs at Temple and Baylor, but the attention NU is getting is a bit premature for my liking.
The public bet big on Colorado to win last week but appears gunshy of doubling down on the Buffs this week. I find that a bit comical, as North Dakota State is a very good team and was totally disrespected by that 10.5-point spread. Besides, it took a late score from the Bison to cover, and the Buffaloes looked primed to pull away a few times in that game. From my standpoint, more credit should have been given to NDSU for hanging in there with two future pros leading the way for Colorado, as Travis Hunter played exceptionally well and Shedeur Sanders was sneakily impressive.
Like last week, I'm betting against the public in the Colorado game. Give me the Buffs +7.5 vs. the Huskers.
