Detroit has all the respect of its fans and has been an interesting storyline down the stretch, but I expect the wind to come out of its sail on Friday versus a motivated Baltimore team.

The O's lost two of three to the Tigers a couple of series ago and are just 2-5 SU in their last seven overall, losing ground in the AL East title race. They won yesterday, though, and will be ready for the challenge tonight with ace Corbin Burnes on the mound. The veteran righty has a 1.50 ERA in September and held Detroit scoreless in his last start, a two-hit, seven-inning gem. The Tigers have a .087 BA/.160 OBP/.087 SLG/.247 OPS slash line with 8 Ks against him in 23 combined career ABs.
