Money Line: -112.00 Cardinals (ARI) (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -112.00 Cardinals (ARI) (Home)

I backed the Jets on TNF against the Texans, mostly because it was FINALLY their week to get over the hump and win, especially at home against a Houston team that had a banged-up offensive line and was missing Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs. Still, NY barely eeked out that win, as it took a questionable Garrett Wilson TD call to overcome the same types of mistakes the Jets have been making all season... Seriously, how did Aaron Rodgers not rip Malachi Corley's head off after that idiotic display of showmanship while crossing the goal line???
Anyway, while I was glad to be "sharp" in that game and cash my Jets -1.5 wager, that outcome hasn't changed my outlook on this New York team. I don't trust them to make winning plays, or yet, NOT make themselves look like fools doing the things that good and great teams rarely ever do. Their odds of making the playoffs are very slim and I don't see this team rising to the occasion on Sunday. If anything, I anticipate them thinking too highly of themselves for barely beating an injury-riddled Texans team playing a short week on the road.
On top of that, somehow the Cardinals are still being undervalued/overlooked. Is that East Coast bias? I don't know. All I can say is that I regret not blindly betting them against another trainwreck of a team, the poorly-coached Chicago Bears, last week...
Arizona was a dark horse team heading into this season, if only because a healthy Kyler Murray gave them a shot to surprise, as I expected them to fly under the radar early in the season. While it remains to be seen if the Cardinals are a team capable of making a legitimate postseason run, I feel comfortable betting on them to win straight-up against the Jets at home on Sunday as slight moneyline favorites.
If you can get the ML without much juice, as I am today (Monday), go for it. If not, I still recommend laying the points with Arizona up to -2.5.
