Betting Trend: The under is 11-6-1 (64.7%) in Chicago's interleague games this season.

The Angels are off to a slow start to July (0-4 record averaging 1.5 runs per game) and were tough to watch at the plate in June (.232 BA/.309 OBP/.382 SLG/.691 OPS and 4.0 runs/game). I expect them to get the best of Hayden Wesneski and the Chicago bullpen (4.25 ERA and 36 HR allowed), but if L.A. is leading the scoring charge, the total will go under.

The Cubs score 3.9 runs in day games and were a disappointment in June, averaging 3.6 runs per game. They don't have much momentum heading into this interleague battle and have little history against José Soriano, whose road ERA is 2.68 points lower than his home ERA even though he has tossed 24.1 more innings in away games. If Chicago falls behind early and Soriano gives Los Angeles some length, I don't trust the Cubs' lineup to stage a rally.
