A's over Blue Jays- It might come as a surprise to many people but the A's and Blue Jays have identical records of 44-54. Most understand Oakland being 10-games under the breakwater mark but Toronto was expected to at least make other in the AL East uncomfortable. The Jays are off a wicked road trip losing their last three and seven of their last nine and return home with a youngster going to the mound as Cesar Valdez (0-0, 6.05 ERA) who has worked just 19 innings allowing 23 hits and 13 runs. Oakland will start former ace Sonny Gray (6-4, 3.65) who is beginning to show signs of life coming back from injury and is 3-0 with a 1.96 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP in his last three starts. Take the ATHLETICS!
