Diamondbacks over Cardinals- This encounter should be an excellent pitching match-up as Arizona's All-Star starter Robbie Ray (9-5, 3.15 ERA) goes up against Michael Wacha (7-4, 3.93) of the Cardinals. If you pay attention to stats and trends it would appear that St, Louis has the advantage as the Cards have won 18 of the last 25 meetings and the D'Backs are 3-7 in their last 10 road games. But, remember statistics never lie but they can be very miss leading. Arizona is averaging over five runs per game and have defeated Wacha in his only decision against them. Ray has a 1.51 ERA on the road this season although he is 0-2 with a 7.88 ERA against St. Louis. Despite these 'stats' I'll take the DIAMONDBACKS!
