Tigers over Twins- What a 'wild one' Saturday's meeting between these two became as the Tigers scored five runs in the first inning and then had to rally from an 11-6 deficit to become our Power Play winner. There are some interesting 'numbers' surrounding this game which start with Minnesota's starting pitcher Ervin Santana (12-7, 3.27 ERA) who is 9-5 lifetime against Detroit with a 3.36 ERA in 20 career starts but did have his shortest start of the season against the Tigers four weeks ago. The Tigers will start Matthew Boyd (5-6, 5.64) who is 5-1 with a 3.52 ERA in eight starts against the Twins and has had two straight poor stats. It just doesn't add up right. Take DETROIT!
