#911 ASA FREE PLAY ON Tampa Bay -1.5 on the Run Line (-105) over Baltimore, Tuesday at 7 PM ET - Tampa lost the series opener last night and we expect a bounce back today with their top starter on the mound. McClanahan has been fantastic all season long with an ERA of 1.71 and an xFIP of 2.00. He has gone 7 consecutive starts without allowing more than 1 ER and he’s allowed more than 2 ER’s just twice this season in 19 starts. He strikes out an average of 11.5 batters per 9 innings while walking just 1.5 and is 4-0 lifetime vs the Orioles. McClanahan is facing a Baltimore line up that strikes out a lot (6th most in MLB) and the O’s rank 24th in batting average vs lefties. We look for Baltimore to have big problems at the plate tonight. The Tampa hitters will be facing Watkins and they’ve had their way vs him in the past. Current Devil Ray hitters have an lifetime average of .385 vs Watkins and his lifetime ERA vs TB is 7.71. He faced them once this season and the Rays scored 3 runs in the 1st inning and Watkins was pulled before getting a single out in the game. The O’s do have a strong bullpen, however last night their starter Voth went just 3 innings and they were forced to use 5 different relievers weakening their pen for tonight. TB won’t have to do much offensively tonight to get a 2+ run margin as we expect Baltimore to get shut down offensively. Lay the 1.5 with Tampa.
