Mets over Cubs- The Cubs as well are all aware are the 'public' and media darlings this season as many think they have the best assembly of talent since the 1927 Yankees. The only problem for the Cubs is that this just don't seem to be able to get bye the New York Mets who swept Chicago 4-0 in the NL Championship series last October. Both of tonight's starter have had difficulty post wins as Jason Hammel (7-4, 2.58 ERA) win winless in his last four starts while Mets hurler Jacob deGrom (3-4, 2.67) has not received a win in 10 starts despite posting eight quality efforts. Still, the Mets seem to have the Cubs number. Take NEW YORK!
