A hefty underdog price and ripe circumstances put me on the Twins.

The slumping Yankees drew the Sunday night game against the Mets last night. They didn't conclude playing until after midnight in the hotly contested 4-hour plus game that featured a near brawl. Now the Yankees have to turn around and play this makeup game early in the afternoon East Coast time before traveling to Baltimore to open a series on Tuesday against their favorite patsy.

I don't know how much the Yankees' minds will be on this game coming off such an emotional matchup that ended just a little more than 12 hours ago.

The pitching matchup is John Gant versus Luis Gil. But this is an action play for me as the Yankees have lost eight of their past nine games and 12 of their last 15.
