Stephen Nover's CBB Free Saturday Play
(NCAAB) Pacific vs. San Jose State,
Point Spread: 1.00 | -107.00 San Jose State (Home)
Result: Win
The oddsmaker opened with the wrong team favored in my view.

I base this on San Jose State having a huge height advantage, having played the tougher schedule, current form, Pacific playing its third straight road game and possibly being down several of its key players.

Pacific is 1-6 ATS in its line games this season. The Tigers failed to cover as short 'dogs against UC Davis and Cal State-Fullerton. They've played several non-division I opponents.

The Spartans have met a number of tough teams, including Cal-Baptist, Stanford and Texas. They beat Cal State-Fullerton, unlike Pacific, and are 6-2 ATS in their games this season.

I give a checkmark, too, to San Jose for having the best backcourt player, Omari Moore. He's averaging 15.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists.
San Jose ranks 22nd in the country in average height. Pacific rates 203rd in that category.

Jeremiah Bailey, Pacific's leading scorer at 14 points a game, is questionable. So is Luke Avdalovic, who is the Tigers' third-leading scorer at 10 points a game.

(Editor's note: Stephen Nover has won 64 percent of his premium/free college basketball plays this month and is 17-6 on his last 23 NBA premium/free plays.)
