(NCAAB) Virginia Tech vs. Notre Dame,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -110.00 Notre Dame (Home)
Result: Loss
Notre Dame checks a lot of boxes here. Virginia Tech doesn't. So I find the wrong team being favored as I release this play.

Notre Dame is 8-2 SU, 7-3 ATS in its last 10 games. The second-seeded Irish are in excellent shape entering the ACC Conference Tournament. They were last seen destroying Pittsburgh, 78-54, five days ago.

Mike Brey has been coaching at Notre Dame the past 22 years. This is what he said following his team's victory against Pittsburgh: ''They believe they can play until April. And they're ripe. There's a calm about this group. I've never been more excited taking a team into the postseason.''

Virginia Tech had to go overtime to survive Clemson last night winning, 76-75, on a 3-point shot by Darius Maddox at the buzzer. It was a very emotional game for the Hokies taking both a physical and mental toll.

The Hokies had to come back after blowing an 11-point lead during the final six minutes of regulation. It was Mike Young's first ACC Conference Tournament win in three years coaching Virginia Tech.

Look for the rested Irish to take care of business here.
