The Reds received a much needed win on Friday when they beat the Pirates, 9-2.

I see the Reds doing it again and the price certainly is right to back them being the superior team.

The Pirates had trouble against Reds southpaw Andrew Abbott on Friday, striking out nine times against him in 5 1/3 innings. Now the Pirates draw another young Cincinnati lefty, Brandon Williamson. The Pirates have never faced Williamson, who is 3-1 with a 3.19 ERA in his last seven starts.

This shapes up as a bullpen game for the Pirates with Andre Jackson the likely nominal starter. The Pirates rank 21st in bullpen ERA at 4.20.
