On Saturday night in the late Final 4 match We are backing Wisconsin. Game 816 at 8:45 eastern. Right from the get go we have no problem taking the dog in a nationally televised Prime time game. Wisconsin is the 2 seed and are a disrespected dog to the 8th seeded Kentucky team that has come alive and beat everyone who has been in their way. The Badgers are quietly one of the most well balanced and well coached teams in the country this season and Bo Ryan has done a solid job. This will be his first Final 4 appearance despite having won over 700 games. While we normally do not back Teams in this round who just took out a #1 seed. We think the Badgers are the team to beat here. They eliminated an Arizona team that is every bit as good and athletic as Kentucky is and maybe even more so. In our Computer Simulations the Wisconsin Team was a winner straight up over 70% of the time, so we will grab the pint or two here. Kentucky has 3 losses vs Non conference teams while Wiscky sits at a perfect 17-0 against non conference teams and has a better record vs Winning teams. Wisconsin also has a better RPI Ranking and has played the 2nd toughest schedule in the nation and was able to beat Arizona shooting under 40%. For all of the reasons above we will back the Badgers tonight.
