The Lakers made it to the Western Conference Final last year, as they really "came together" over the second half. They then lost to the Nuggets, who would go on to win their first ever NBA Championship in franchise history.

The Nuggets are expected to be without forward Michael Porter Jr. in this one, as he also sat out the entire pre-season.

Denver is going to be distracted here raising the banner, and I think the Lakers have revenge on their minds here right out of the gate and will be bring their "A" game on Opening Night.

While I do think the outright win is a possibility, the official call will be to grab as many points as you can with LA.
