If Edmonton is going to pull off the upset, it'll have to do what it does best, and that's push the pace and try to put the biscuit in the basket a lot more than its opponent.

The Oilers feature an offense with the top four scorers in the NHL Playoffs. The Stars own the best defensive record.

It's a clash of styles, but I'm anticipating a very wide-open affair here in the opener.

Goaltending isn't a concern for Dallas, but it is for Edmonton. The Stars will have their chances throughout this series offensively, as the Oilers have a high 10.8 team shooting percentage at 5-on-5.

But the Oilers are for sure deadly offensively, leading all teams on special teams with 15 power play goals across 12 games.
