Arizona had won seven of eight before now dropping its last three at home, including the first two in this series.

Note though that Arizona has seen the total dip UNDER the number in seven of its last ten after three or more straight losses in a row. Also in four of its last five in trying to avenge two or more straight home loss against an opponent.

With yesterday's 8-6 victory, LA has now won four straight, with all four totals flying well OVER the posted number.

Today's number is now a bit inflated in my opinion.

We have two decent starter going head-to-head here in Justin Wrobleski for the Dodgers, who has posted an 18:9 K:BB over 21 innings of work.

The young hurler will be opposed by the D-Backs Brand Pfaadt, who is 8-7 with a 4.31 ERA and has once again been a workhorse for Arizona this season.

The overall situation combined with the numbers/trends though point to this being a lower-scoring defensive battle. The play is the UNDER.
