Parsons' PRIME-TIME PUNI$HER (OFF MUCH-NEEDED SWEEP!)
(MLB) Tigers (DET) vs. Royals (KAN),
Point Spread: 1.50 | -145.00 Tigers (DET) (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* PUNI$HER on the Tigers runline.

I think this is a great spot for Detroit to possibly even steal another game outright as the dog, but for this price, I'm going to gladly lay the chalk for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance.

Clearly, this is a big game for both teams. The Tigers are the hottest team in MLB since mid August, and now Casey Mize has an opportunity to help contribute to his team's success after now making his fourth start back from a stint on the IL.

Cole Ragans has been great for KC this season and it's difficult to say anything negative about him, so I'm not even going to bother. This is just a case of Ragans being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Momentum," especially at this time of the year when teams are racing for a playoff spot, is a very real, almost "tangible" factor that the oddsmakers often have a hard time properly quantifying into a line, and that's the case here in my opinion.

Lay the price for DETROIT on the RUNLINE option.

Good luck, NP
